How did the Puppy Bowl start? It all started at Scheduling group meeting. They were trying to figure out what to put on Animal Planet to counter
the annual Super Bowl. On a whim someone suggested they put a group of puppies on a football field and film it. The rest is history. The show had
5.58 million viewers. I was one of them! My husband and I were in our two bedroom apartment. We had just popped a bowl of popcorn, and my husband was flipping through the channels for something to watch. He isn’t a football fan, so he was looking for a fun movie. He found the Puppy Bowl, and watched as one puppy got a penalty for making a small potty mess on the field. We loved it and its become a family tradition to watch every year.
