Royals Icon George Brett decided to reach out
to his twitter followers to help him find
his dog, who went missing from his home.

I would never think to reach out to
my twitter followers, but he did. He offered
a reward.

Yes he got his dog back! That’s
the best part about it,

USA Today reports:

He attempted to get #findcharlie trending.
He went after the biggest kahunas in sports/social media to raise awareness of his plight, tweeting at Sports Illustrated’s Peter King, ESPN’s Buster Olney and, for local ground coverage, the Kansas City Star’s official Twitter account.
And he offered an unspecific reward — ” undecided; finder’s choice” he tweeted to a follower — to up the ante.

If we ever lost our Sheba, we might try Twitter, and perhaps
facebook and google +. He had a lot of caring fans helping him
spread the word. He could of also used the PetAmberalert.com. They have a good service and can help you find your lost dog or cat.

His idea to use twitter, was genius. The PetAmberalert.com service is nice because, you can get
alerts on your cell phone, and through their facebook page to find your lost dog or cat. Its nice to know there are other ways to find your dog when their are missing besides, posters in the neighborhood and driving
around in your car trying to find them.

When my dogs got out, we had to take a quick drive to find them. Of course we used posters. Luckily we
did get both our beagles back. Its nice to know that his dog is now home and safe.
