A rescued four month old puppy named Danny, was blind due to juvenile cataracts
The Austin Humane Society rescued 29 dogs from a farm in Waco Texas.
The puppy was hanging his head low, and walking slowly into the rooms. Dr Linsey Wagner at Eye Care for Animals in North Austin
heard about the puppy. She decided to perform the eye surgery to remove the cataracts Pro Bono. On Thursday just minutes after the surgery
Danny got the gift of sight, and began running and playing with a new lease on life.
“It’s great every time, that’s why it’s my favorite. It’s the same feeling when you can just see them tracking you, even from the kennel. You just know they’re seeing you for the first time,” said Dr. Wagner.
The greatest gift this cute little puppy could have ever received. A new home, definitely start of a wonderful
new year. Miracles do happen, with angels like Dr Linsey. We just tend to look in all the wrong places, and don’t notice them enough. That’s
why stories like these are so important.
Angels are among us, and miracles do happen.
